Tagalder (2000) Incorporated signed a Letter of Intent to acquire  Heibei Province Suan Group Co., Of Beijing ("Suan"). Suan is an  engineering company specialized in sewer rehabilitation --and have nearly 20 years of experience in the trenchless pipeline rehabilitation business.

Suan's patented technologies in this area allows the corporation to expand their business rapidly. Many cities will depend on Suan to anticipate and deal with jobsite issues before they turn into problems. Suan assures the project will be completed safely, on time and within budget.

The Pipe-In-Pipe Technologies

Suan has developed a process and procedure in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation:

Step 1:
After completed the case study of the project and determine the process, the resin-filled tube will be inverted (turned inside out) and rest at the launch station.

Step 2:
The tube will be pushed forward by pumping water or air into it. and inversed along the old tube. Since the inner resin-filled surface will stick to the old tube, the Pipe-In-Pipe will present a smooth surface.

Step 3:
After the Pipe-In-Pipe is in place, the new tube will be solidified by applying hot temperature or pressure. When finish, the rehabilitated tube is completed without digging up the trench.

The Great Success of Beijing Chang An Street Project

Zhong Nan Hai in Chang An Street of Beijing is the office compound of Chinese leaders. The rehabilitation project of 7 km gas pipeline continued for two years until it came to the section of Zhong Nan Hai. The government would not allow construction team to dig up the trench in this section or any move of the valuable trees along the street. 

Suan was then contracted for the trenchless pipe rehabilitation. It fitted perfectly to the government requirement without digging up the trench and destroy any trees during the project. This success becomes Suan's symbolic project in this business.

The Other Projects

Project of 2.1 km
Completed the rehabilitation of 2.1 km gas pipeline in 45 days. This is a very busy section and if traditional method is used, traffic and all business will be impacted.

High Pressure Gas Pipeline
Another sample of busy city center. The gas leakage brought great risk to the area. Suan completed the project and saved the area from all the chaos which might have been otherwise.

Shijiazhuan Project
The gas leakage happened in the school and commercial center. It needed to move 4 schools and built 28 bypass bridges if used the traditional method. Suan completed the project in 40 days without any impact to the schools and the businesses in the area.

Suan completed this project in 21 days. This project had utilized new technologies and chemical components to remove the stuff in the old pipe.

Suan has secured projects for the full year of 2001. These projects will bring in income of over C$50 million. 

Future Development

After China enters WTO in 2001, Suan will compete with many foreign companies in the domestic market. Tagalder will bring in a new team of management and technologies to make Suan more efficient and competitive in the world market place.
